@SUNSEEDMAN ( updated by 02 Oct 2018 ) * By Jan/Aug18, officially, Turkey exported 258.0 kmt of Sunoil, mainly to Iraq and Syria. Please note that Turkish Sunoil exports to Iraq were significantly reduced due to recently established local refinery company as well as logistics troubles. * By Jan/Aug18, officially, Turkey imported 350 kmt of Sunoil, mainly from Russia and also partly from Bosnia ( duty-free as per bilateral agreements ), Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romania and Moldova. * By Jan/Aug18, officially, Turkey imported 551.0 kmt of oil-bearing ( also 67.5 kmt as confectionary and hybrids ) Sunflower, mainly from Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Russia and Ukraine. * Following last week’s 252 kmt of Milling Wheat, TMO/Turkish Grain Board, is once at the scene by today to purchase 246 kmt of Feed Barley as 09 – 30 Oct loading time. As per recently higher freights and huge shipments to Saudi Arabia, I do not forecast below 240 $/mt C&F line-ups * Albeit some bounces in CBOT Soybeans of today ( 01 Oct ) due to wetter weather conditions soon by hampering US Soy harvesting progress, I m still steady to lower for Soybean prices as long as US/Chinese trade wars are kept. Indeed, I even do not rule out below 800, esp. in the new year. * By 01 Oct 2018, as per RuAgMin, Russian Sunflower harvesting pace is around 29.5% nationally. The yields at the southern parts so far are really disappointing due to unfavorable Summer18 weather conditions. * As per Safras & Mercados, by 28 Sep 2018, Brazilian Soybean planting pace was 4.9%, mainly in Parana and also slightly in Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul. I forecast 2 - 3% hike in the acreage vs last season due to lucrative prices as per huge Chinese demands instead US origin.
